Las Vegas

Well the results are in from the first Las Vegas Furniture Maket and according to the promoters of the show it exceeded all industry projections. Their web site, http://www.lasvegasmarket.com/ has all of the industry facts on what happened from their point of view.

Our showroom was at the Las Vegas Convention Center and we appreciate all the customers who stopped by to see our new products and place orders for the upcoming season. We saw many new faces from the West coast and South West, but I don't think the traffic to our building was as high as the traffic to the main building, World Market Center, and the adjoining Temporaries tent.

However our plan is to be moved to the main property starting at the next show. I believe that the show promoter's plans are to fill the Temporaries tents with the vendors who are next in line to be in the next building to be built. World Market Center #1 is booked, as is the Temporaries tent. So what will happen is the vendors will get in line to be in the temporaries tent and will probably sign a 10 year lease based on the premise that they will be the next in line to be in building #2 and 3 and so on until the promoters have built enough buildings on the 300 acre old train depot to have the same or more square footage of show space as High Point International Furniture Market in North Carolina.

We are confident that with our world class products and inspiring new designs, combined with the convenience of the seemingly unlimited Las Vegas lodging and transportation for our customers and excellent showroom location, the cost of adding this new show to our roster will be justified in the end.
